Shift Nursing 

Partners in Community Nursing provides a variety of nursing services to provide respite care to families in the Durham Region. Our nurses provide caregivers relief during the day, evening, and night to support a variety of needs. Care is provided both in home and at school.

Can I leave my loved one alone with the nurse?

Yes. Once the nurse has been oriented to your home and knows the care that is required, the nurse will be independent.

Can the nurse look after my other children when I go out?

No. The nurse in your home is responsible for the one child that he/she has been contracted to provide care for.
